Growing grass in shaded areas
Hi,
We put an addition onto the back of my house about 3 years ago and the workers made a mess of my small, but useful backyard. Can you recommend a grass or cover that we can use? My children do play in the yard so a shade-capable grass would be ideal.

Mike,
St. Augustine is the most shade tolerant grass. I must warn you though that it’s terribly difficult to keep grass growing in the shade where children play. Good luck mate.
